What’s Going to Happen to the Dog?

A dramatic new mausoleum at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery has me thinking about where I might like my final resting place to be. This unusual post is inspired by a new movie about a magnificent dog.

Hello to those who are new to this blog, with a warning that this is a slightly personal piece. Bear with me! Four things came together during the course of my week and I’ve braided them together to discuss something we don’t always talk about but is ever present: what happens to us after we are gone?

There is a Bhutanese folk saying: to be a happy person, one must contemplate death five times daily. There’s a website that will send you notifications to do just that. The mission of Reasons to Gather is to help us all find more happiness in life, so I hope you will permit me this romp through an offbeat topic.
